Tesla
It's worth questioning if Tesla really needs an introduction.
For the sake of this case study, let's take a look at how this innovative company define's itself on their website. It is Tesla's mission to "... accelerate the world's transition to renewable energy." Tesla believes "the faster the world stops relying on fossil fuels and moves toward a zero-emission future, the better."

Opportunity
While completing General Assembly's UX Design Immersive, we were presented with a brief prompting us to explore the Tesla dashboard; particularly the auto-pilot feature and driver safety.
At the time, Tesla was making headlines due to a string of fatal accidents while drivers had autopilot engaged. We wondered, in Tesla's rush to accelerate the world's transition to renewable energy, had potential safety hazards in their electric vehicle dashboard design been overlooked?
